Our convenient sauce mix is crafted with McCormick herbs & spices and contains no artificial flavors or added MSG*, so you can it feel good about serving it to your family. All you need is a 6-ounce can of tomato paste. Add ground beef or turkey if you prefer a hearty meat sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes and it’s ready to toss with spaghetti or your favorite pasta. (Prep Tip: Start the water for the pasta before you do anything else!)

Potato Starch, Sugar, Salt, Onion, Corn Maltodextrin, Spices (including Paprika, Basil, Oregano), Whey (milk), Garlic, Mushroom, Nonfat Milk, Beet Powder, Granular Cheese And Blue Cheese (milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes), Buttermilk, Cultured Whey, Sodium Phosphate & Natural Flavor.
Directions
Total Time: 15 minutes. Makes 5 servings. You Will Need. 1 pkg. McCormick Sauce Mix. 2-1/4 cups water. 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste (Substition: Use 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce in place of tomato paste and reduce water to 1-1/2 cups). 1 tbsp. oil or butter (optional). Directions: 1. Stir Sauce Mix, water, tomato paste and oil in medium saucepan until well blended. 2. Bring to boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. For Thicker Sauce: Reduced water to 1-3/4 cups if using tomato paste. Reduce water to 1 cup if using tomato sauce.
Kitchen Tips: Serve over pasta and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired. Italian-Style Meat Sauce: Brown 1/2 lb. lean ground beef or turkey in medium skillet. Drain fat. Stir in Sauce Mix, water, tomato paste and oil. continue as directed. Makes 3-1/2 cups.
