Rice, Salt, Natural Flavor, Onions (Dried), Sugar, Tomato (Dried), Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Red Bell Pepper (Dried), Green Peppers (Dried), with Sodium Sulfite for Color Retention, Monosodium Glutamate, Parsley (Dried), Garlic (Dried), Caramel Color, Hydrolyzed Corn Gluten, Spices, Lactose, Niacin, Ferric Orthophosphate, Annatto Extract Color, Turmeric Extract, Thiamin Mononitrate, Soy Sauce (Soybeans, Wheat, Salt), Folic Acid.
Directions
Rice Range Top: What You Need: 2 tablespoons margarine or butter; 2-1/2 cups water. 1. In a large skillet, combine margarine or butter, 2 cups water and rice; bring to a boil. 2. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer 14 to 18 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed. 3. Slowly stir in 1/2 cup water and Special Seasonings. Increase heat to medium-high and continue cooking, uncovered, stirring constantly for 2 to 4 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed. 4. Cover; remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Stir well before serving. About 3 cups prepared. Make it a meal! Spicy Chicken Fajita: 1. In large skillet, combine rice, 1-1/2 cups water, 2 Tbsp. margarine and 1 lb. uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cup into 1-inch pieces; bring to a boil. 2. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 14-18 min. or until most of water is absorbed. 3. Slowly stir in 1/2 cup water and Special Seasonings. Increase heat to medium-high; stir and cook 2-4 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed. 4. Cover and let stand 5 min. Stir before serving. Stir-In Idea: Add 1 cup corn when adding Special Seasonings. Top with 2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro before serving. Microwave: In 3-quart microwaveable bowl, combine 2-1/2 cups water, 2 tablespoons margarine or butter and rice. Stir. Microwave uncovered at high 16-18 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed. Slowly stir in 2/3 cup water and Special Seasonings. Stir. Microwave at High 2-4 minutes. Stir well. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed. Less Fat: Follow Range Top or Microwave Directions, except substitute margarine with 1 teaspoon olive oil. Fat reduced to 4 g from 9 g per serving with Saturated Fat reduced to 0 g from 1.5 g and Trans Fat reduced to 0 g from 1.5 g per serving, 25 calories from fat per serving.
