Sauvignon Blanc Wine for Delivery or Pickup

Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Chardonnay all use different white grapes in their production, and the terrain in which they are grown imparts different flavors. Sauvignon Blanc is generally considered high in acidity and full-flavored, while Pinot Grigio is more moderately acidic with a more delicate flavor profile. Chardonnay is a full-bodied wine with moderate acidity. Chardonnay is the only wine of the three that is often aged in oak barrels, which imbues it with a different character. 

Like most white wines, Sauvignon Blanc is best when served chilled, ideally to a temperature between 50-55°F. If it is too warm, the flavors are dulled, while a wine that is too cold mutes the flavors. If you buy a bottle off the shelf and hope to serve it with dinner, either pop it in the refrigerator for 2 hours or place it in an ice-water bath for about 40 minutes to cool it to the optimum temperature. 

If you don't finish the bottle, it can stay fresh for 2-4 days when you replace the cork and put it back into the refrigerator. Past that, it can do double duty to add some pep to your cooking.
